Horticulture Centre, Naojor is located at Naojor on Dhaka-Tangail Road, Ward No. 13 of Gazipur City Corporation. The land area of this center is 3.04 acres. The center was established in 1978 as CDC (Sardi). The latter has been operating as a horticulture nursery since 1990. Half of the nursery land is in dry land where 2 to 3 feet of water accumulates during monsoons. As some parts are elevated, there are nursery activities going on there. As the nursery is in existence, if it can be developed under the development project, then it can be ideal  Nursery, which can play an overall role in the public interest of the area including Gazipur City Corporation.

It is a service organization. Here the institute is being run at government expense with the aim of producing fruit, forestry, medicinal, ornamental and vegetable seedlings/plants and distributing them to the public at the price fixed by the government.
